UI/UX Designer

Design experiences that make Yenzi easy to understand and rewarding to use. You will help people move naturally between personal expression, professional identity and community participation across mobile and web.

• Research user needs through interviews, usability testing and feedback analysis.
• Map journeys and design flows for onboarding, discovery, posting, portfolios, company profiles and community participation.
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes and detailed interface designs.
• Create and maintain a shared design system with reusable components and clear interaction guidance.
• Make privacy choices, access permissions and reporting tools understandable within the product.
• Collaborate with developers through implementation and review released experiences for usability, accessibility and visual consistency.

• A portfolio demonstrating product design, interaction design and thoughtful problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.
• Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions.
• Understanding of mobile and responsive web patterns, accessibility and clear interface writing.
• Ability to explain design choices and adapt them to technical constraints and user evidence.

Social or community products, professional platforms, African user research and designing for limited connectivity or varied device capabilities.

Users understand key features, complete important tasks with fewer obstacles and experience a coherent product across devices.
